Pancake

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups self-raising flour (sieved)
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

METHOD

In a mixing bowl, mix eggs, milk & vanilla extract using a wire whisk.

Add flour, salt, & sugar and mix thoroughly.

Heat pan over medium heat until relatively hot. Grease pan with a thin layer of butter and pour in batter. Cook until brown on each side.

Wipe off residue using kitchen towel and grease pan with butter before pouring in batter again.

NOTE

  • You can substitute milk with water
  • To get evenly browned pancakes, always use medium heat to heat pan. If heat is too high, pancakes will brown unevenly.
